Winter Social
The RSU held another very successful social on Level 4 on the 5th December to provide some light relief from deadlines before the end of term, or celebrate those with those lucky ones who had already finished! We brought the bar back, with great tunes from Radio SE10, and Rave Snow was there to give information and advice about their huge upcoming Snow Trip abroad! We had a great turn out, from 4.30pm to 9pm there was music, fun and a weird amount of tinsel – 26 meters to be exact. Things got merry, luckily without the festivity of Christmas songs, and the requests were flying in, there was dancing! People were working, relaxing, pre-drinking, and enjoying the environment. As an SU Team we decided to treat the attendees to a round of Domino’s pizza, which was hugely appreciated by all.
Thank you to everyone that came, the SU Socials are under a trial period and the feedback and turn out go a long way to make this a more permanent and more regular occurrence! We wish everyone spectacularly happy holidays and watch out for news as we welcome back students to second term with ReFreshers!
