St Patrick’s Day Social

On Tuesday 17th March the SU put on a St Patrick’s Day themed social which had a great turnout with many students sticking around from start to finish. It was great to see so many members of staff getting involved and joining us for the event, and encouraging students to do the same. As per usual our mobile bar was very popular and our use of free drink “lucky tokens” hidden around the building proved a success at getting more students involved and actively engaging with the event. During the evening we had a request for some Irish music, during which, a few of our Irish students gave us a bit of a show, dancing around level 4 to the amusement of onlookers. As is the tradition of our socials, the SU team decided to order in some Dominoes pizza which was, as you would expect, greatly appreciated and quickly devoured by students and staff alike. Its clear to see that our regular socials are a popular event with the majority of the Ravensbourne population, and we hope to hold a few more of them before the end of this academic year.

If you have any suggestions for themed socials or events you would like us to hold please get in touch with us via email, in person or by submitting it to our online suggestion box.

The SU want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has gotten involved with our work and congratulate you on another successful term. We hope you all enjoy a well deserved easter break and look forward to seeing you again for term 3.
