Freshers Week 2014

Earlier this term we welcomed students, both old and new, to Ravensbourne and student life with our sold out Freshers Week. This years Freshers Week saw over 600 students heading all over London to get a real experience of London nightlife. With a week featuring a line-­up of incredible acts including, Kristian Nairn (AKA Hodor from Game of Thrones), Example, Skepta, Sigma, Natty and DJ Viko performing at a host of venues from Piccadilly Institute and the famous Ministry of Sound in central London to local venues Studio 338 and the O2’s Building Six here at North Greenwich. The reaction from students has been overwhelmingly positive with many returning students stating it to be one of the best Freshers weeks Ravensbourne has seen in a really long time. Whilst we spent quite a few months trying to craft the perfect mix of events for Freshers, we can’t take all of the credit. Our amazing partnership with Milkshake gave us the chance to give Freshers some massive events and incredible artists at some of London’s best venues. We are all incredibly happy with how the week turned out and that so many of you came out and enjoyed yourself at Freshers. Freshers Week 2014 was just the beginning of our events for this year, and we are buzzing over the many events lined up that we are certain you will all go crazy for.
