Constitution coming soon!
We’re working hard behind the scenes to entirely redraft the Students’ Union Constitution, a legal document that governs the Students’ Union and sets down the rules by which your SU is run. Up until now the constitution has been years out of date, and fails to cover many areas of the new, improved SU or the new location; all of this means the process to refine it is complex and time consuming. Rest assured though, it should be in place and approved soon!
As part of this new constitution we are hoping to bring something entirely new to Ravensbourne: a Student Parliament. This organisation will be formed of elected representatives for each course, giving easier routes for feedback and greater transparency in the Union’s affairs.
Together, these developments form part of our strategy to bring you a more open, democratic form of student governance and representation.
